Today we will talk about one of the most popular Scotty Cameron Tour Putters, the Newport 2. First of all, the Newport 2 is known as the putter Tiger Woods has been using for a long time. One of the most striking features of the putter is its sharp, straight head. You can see the rectangular outline very clearly when you address the ball, and many users find it easy to target. The Newport 2 fans are attracted to these features, but many Newport fans feel it is too boxy and doesn’t have curves other putters have.
The Newport 2 tour putters are currently available in GSS Cameron & co, in SSS, in carbon steel, select series and T10 select series. We would like hear what you like or don’t like about the Newport 2, feedback and other comments regarding the Newport 2 putter. Please feel free to leave us your comments.

Personally, I love the “sharp” look of the Newport 2. That being said, I play a charcoal mist 009 33″ 350g putter because the lines of the head design just seem to suit my eye best along with the non glare charcoal mist finish. I have never been lucky enough to try a GSS, in any head style, but someday I hope to own one exactly like the picture shown.

Thank you for your comments, Mr.Jeff. The feeling, sounds or touch of GSS is so different from SSS and Carbon steel. We have some Rent Tour Putters which you can play with in Hamamatsu Seaside Golf Club. GSS, SSS, and Carbon steel Putters are available. People enjoy to try and feel the difference of the Tour Putter from the production model. We hope you visit Museum and try GSS Putters someday.

Beautiful putter in my opinion a true classic design. I had the chance to visit the Musuem last year and I have to say that the display of putters was beautiful, many GSS and SSS putters to look and choose from.
